How to Get and Evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X

How to Get and Evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X

With the new Ascension Update in Anime Rangers X, a new unit took over the number one spot in terms of DPS, and that is Gappy. Now, although obtaining Gappy is relatively easy, evolving him can be challenging. With that in mind, we prepared the following guide on how to get and evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X to help you out.Table of ContentsHow to Get Gappy in Anime Rangers XHow to Evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers XGappy (Go Beyond) Unit OverviewRecommended Gappy BuildAnime Rangers X Gappy FAQsHow to Get Gappy in Anime Rangers XThe Ascension Event NPC is found right next to the spawn area of the main lobby. There are two ways to get Gappy in Anime Rangers X: completing Ascension Event stages and opening Ascension Capsules. In Ascension Event stages, you have to defeat a 400B HP version of Vampire Emperor. The boss has very low damage, so the chances are that none of your units will ever get defeated in this event stage.Ascension Event stages are easy to complete, but they might take a while depending on the overall DPS of your team. The chance of obtaining Gappy from these stages varies depending on your clear time. For clear times under 100s, the Gappy's drop chance is ~0.65%, and it goes down 0.05% for clear times of over 400s. To increase his drop rate, equip the Soul of Greed (25% increased base drop chance) on one of your units, and optionally equip the Priest of Heaven (Ascended) (100% increased base drop chance). There is a 1% chance you get Gappy when opening an Ascension Capsule.A potentially easier way to obtain Gappy is to open Ascension Capsules (1% drop chance). Depending on your luck, you might have to open only a few dozen of them before you get the new Beyond-rarity unit. You can get Ascension Capsules by clearing Ascension Event stages (1-6 per stage) and by completing the Wall of Infinite Eyes Ranger Stage (0.1% drop chance). How to Evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers XYou can access the Divine Trials menu by clicking the Quests button on the right side of the screen and then going to the Trials section. To evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X, you need to obtain only one evolution item: Star Bubble. Now, the only way to obtain a Star Bubble is to complete the Bubble Plunderer Divine Trial bounty questline. Here is an overview of the quest requirements and the best methods for solving them:Bounty QuestRequirementsCompletion TipsFractured HorizonClear 200 Waves in the Wall of Infinite Eyes Infinite game mode.• You don't have to complete 200 waves in one try.• Completing around 50 waves four times is optimal.Abyssal SurgeDeal 50,000,000,000 Damage with Gappy.• Only the damage done by Gappy's attacks is counted towards the quest.• Equip Gears that lower Gappy's attack cooldown and equip some meta Support units to complete the quest quickly.• The test area is the best place to grind out this quest in one tryCrown of AscensionClear Ascension Event 100 times.• You can do this quest without having Gappy equipped.Eclipse VerdictClear Ascension Event 10 Times with Gappy.• To progress this quest, you have to equip Gappy in the first slot.• Replace your weakest support unit with Gappy to keep the clear times as low as possible.Vault of EternityOpen 500 Ascension Capsules.• Simply grind Ascension Event stages until you obtain and open 500 Ascension Capsules.• Equipping the Soul of Greed or Priest of Heaven (Ascended) does not increase the amount of Ascension Capsules dropped per stage. To evolve Gappy, you need to obtain the Star Bubble evolution material.Once you've completed all of the bounty quests, head over to the Upgrade Zone and interact with the Units Evolve NPC to evolve Gappy to Gappy (Go Beyond).Gappy (Go Beyond) Unit OverviewGappy has by far the highest DPS potential in Anime Rangers X.When you evolve Gappy, he becomes the best DPS unit in Anime Rangers X. His base stats are comparable to those of other meta DPS units, like Gilgamesh, Shadow Monarch, and Crimson Owl. Still, Gappy's passives are what make him stand out from the rest, as they allow him to keep stacking damage infinitely. Here is a list of them and their effects:Passive 1 — GO BEYOND!: This unit starts at stage 1. Stages persist after death once unlocked, and each new Stage retains buffs from previous stages. Beyond Stage 1: Alternate between applying Chained and Explosion on every hit. Each time both are applied, there is a 5% chance to advance to Stage 2.Chained: Stuns enemies in range for 15s and slows them by 80%.Explosion: Next attack deals +150% Damage.Beyond Stage 2: Each time Chained or Explosion activates, deal 300% Damage to all enemies in range and gain a permanent +5% Damage buff (no cap). Each time this unit deals damage, there is a 5% chance to advance to Stage 3.Beyond Stage 3: All attacks apply Bubbled. Every 5 Bubbled applications, steal 2.5% Damage from the highest-damaging enemy in range.Bubbled: Enemy is slowed by 90% and takes +33% Damage.Passive 2 — I am Two, not One: After attacking, this unit may continue attacking with decreasing probability: each follow-up attack has a 100% chance to repeat, reduced by 5% with each successive strike. Each time an attack misses, reduce Attack Cooldown and Ability Cooldown by 9%.Passive 3 — Plunder Bubble: Every 10 Abilities, summon an enemy copy with the same stats as the last defeated enemy. For every summon on the field, increase summon damage by +55.5%.Passive 4 — Soft and Wet: 33% Range Increase on all Plunder Bubbles.Passive 5 — I See All: For every +2 Range above 50, increase Damage by +0.5% and Summon HP by +0.5% (no cap).Recommended Gappy BuildRecommended build for GappyJust like other meta DPS units, you should focus on maximizing Gappy's ability damage in order to optimize his DPS. The best curse combo for Gappy is -15% Ability Cooldown and +15% Damage. As for the gears, go with Hair Curls, Black Coat, Purple Boots/Black Shoes, and Aetherial Lance/Funny Revolver. Depending on how low Gappy's Ability Cooldown already is, you can use either the Soul of Agony or the Soul of Cyclops to round out the build. That concludes our guide on how to get and evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X. Let us know in the comments below if you are struggling with any of the Gappy Divine Trials. For some in-game freebies, make sure to check out our Anime Rangers X Codes.Anime Rangers X Gappy FAQsHow to complete the Eclipse Verdict bounty quest trial for Gappy? To progress the Eclipse Verdict trial, you need to clear Ascension Event 10 times with Gappy while he is equipped in the first slot. Clearing Ascension event stages while Gappy is equipped on slots 2-5 does not count towards completing the bounty quest. Is Gappy worth the grind? Yes, Gappy is the best DPS unit right now in Anime Rangers X, so you will want to obtain him as soon as possible. What is the best squad for completing Ascension Event stages in Anime Rangers X? Without Gappy, the best squad you can bring to the Ascension Event stages is Griffith, Omega Dragonlord, Primal Fusion, Vampire Emperor, and Gilgamesh. This team focuses on buffing Gilgamesh until he completes his eight gate cycle and one-shots the boss. The post How to Get and Evolve Gappy in Anime Rangers X appeared first on Destructoid.

Real Talk: How does Pokémon deal with its scalper problem?

Pokémon has a huge scalping problem that doesn't seem to be getting any better, and no matter what it tends to do, even the video games are no longer safe from the usual Pokémon TCG crowd, with people selling Shiny Pokémon codes in the US for inflated fees if anyone missed out on grabbing one.I haven't been able to find a TCG set in quite a while, and the casual thought of collecting a Master's Set of cards is gone out of the window when these time-exclusive sets are being hoarded up by those who don't care for the hobby. I'm not the only one who thinks the scalper situation is getting completely out of hand. But what can Pokémon actually do to counteract this? When the company doesn't appear to care. At least, from the outside.https://twitter.com/JoeMerrick/status/1967639189551452622I don't think the solution to the scalper situation is as straightforward as people believe it to be. Even Japan is experiencing issues and has resorted to a raffle system for online orders, where customers can enter their address and individual phone number for a chance to purchase a box of cards or a special set. This can mitigate scalpers hoovering up stock in the west, sure, but would it work? After all, Pokémon Center exclusives and sales are one thing, but there is nothing stopping people at Costco from buying out sets without stores setting individual sales limits per person. Which most won't do. Companies will not impose these restrictions in most cases when they know they can immediately make profits from selling items in bulk. However, it seems that a discussion is needed about the excessive scalping occurring both at Pokémon events and sites, as well as outside of them. If the scalping worsens, the hobby will be severely damaged. It's only a matter of time until the scalping expands into other areas of the fandom as well, before any Pokémon is a fight to beat the scalpers. And I don't want to live in that future. And I doubt you do either. And of course, you can make the argument that the only way to combat scalpers is not to purchase the inflated items and leave them out of money. But if that were so easy, scalping would have stopped by now. Instead, it's increased. So what can be done, truly? The post Real Talk: How does Pokémon deal with its scalper problem? appeared first on Destructoid.

Sector OverviewToday's stock market heatmap reveals a contrast of performances across sectors. The Technology sector is witnessing mixed movements. Microsoft (MSFT) declined by 1.00%, while standout performers include Palantir (PLTR) and CrowdStrike (CRWD) with gains of 1.30% and 1.14% respectively. Google (GOOG) and Meta (META) are in the red, dropping by 0.92% and 2.56% respectively. Market Mood and TrendsThe overall market vibe indicates increased caution among investors. The broad fluctuations in the Tech sector imply a potential shift in sentiment, possibly influenced by recent earnings reports or economic forecasts. Meanwhile, robust performance in Healthcare hints at investor rotation towards defensive assets.Investors seem to be grappling with a mixed bag of economic indicators leading to varied sector performances. Enthusiasm in healthcare, marked by Eli Lilly (LLY) surging 4.76%, indicates a flight to safety among investors.Strategic RecommendationsAs market dynamics continue to evolve, investors should consider capitalizing on strengths within the Healthcare sector. Given the heightened volatility in Tech and Communication Services, late-stage investors may wish to reassess exposure to these areas, particularly amidst shifting earnings expectations. On the defensive front, focusing on robust performers like LLY or diversifying into stable credit service names such as Visa (V), up 1.77%, might offer a buffer against further volatility. MANALAPAN, N.J., Oct. 01, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Navicore Solutions, a leading national nonprofit credit counseling agency, is urging consumers to take action as FICO prepares to launch new scoring models that will include Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) data for the first time. These scores are expected to be available to lenders starting in fall 2025, marking a significant change in how creditworthiness is measured.BNPL programs such as Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay have grown rapidly in popularity, particularly among younger consumers and those with limited credit history. Until now, most BNPL activity went unreported to credit bureaus, meaning that late or missed payments rarely affected a person's credit score. With the introduction of these new models, BNPL repayment behavior, both positive and negative, will start shaping credit profiles."These changes can give responsible Buy Now, Pay Later users an opportunity to build their ...Full story available on Benzinga.com

Watch: Bear scampers through grocery store in Arizona

A bear made its way into a grocery store in Oro Valley, Arizona, on Monday, scampering around the aisles as startled shoppers watched.Charlie Alolkoy, who has been photographing wildlife for decades, told KVOA he has never encountered a bear before – and suddenly one was right in front of him in a grocery store. “Low and behold, I get the biggest wildlife I’ve seen up to this point,” he said. The video shows the bear cub darting past aisles, not very interested in the products Fry’s grocery store had to offer. “The produce department has honey cones you can buy – and he just walked past it,” Alolkoy said. The bear left the store on its own and no one was hurt. While bear sightings in Arizona aren’t uncommon, seeing one in a store is very rare. Officials remind people not to leave food out for wildlife and caution against allowing animals, such as bears, to associate food with humans. Playing New Call Of Duty Games On Game Pass Just Got More Expensive

Microsoft announced a suite of significant changes for Xbox Game Pass today, including price hikes, the renaming of tiers, and details on new benefits for subscribers. Microsoft also clarified how to play new Call of Duty games with Game Pass. There are multiple ways, and they all cost more than before, while one tier may not get new Call of Duty games for a while.First off, you can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate--which is now $30/month--to play all of Microsoft's new releases at launch, including new Call of Duty titles like this year's Black Ops 7. This was always the case with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and it's not changing.Another way to get new Call of Duty games with Game Pass is to subscribe to PC Game Pass, although, as with Ultimate, it's going to cost you more than before. The subscription service is rising in price from $12/month to $16.50/month. That's an increase of 37.5%, which is not as significant as the 50% price increase for Game Pass Ultimate.Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Essential and Premium--the tiers formerly known as Core and Standard--will not get to play new Call of Duty games at launch. This was the case previously and it's staying true going forward. In the fine print, Microsoft said Premium subscribers will get new Xbox-published games "within a year of their launch," with the exception of Call of Duty titles. That's a significant asterisk, given that Call of Duty is one of Microsoft's marquee brands. What this seems to mean is that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 won't come to Game Pass Premium for some time. The Game Pass name changes and price hikes are now in effect, but Amazon continues to sell one-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription for $20. Buy Game Pass on Amazon For more on Game Pass, be sure to check out our gallery below where we run through the best Game Pass titles available.

AGNT Hub Launches X Mini Apps and Opens the Next Chapter for Native Web3 on X

WARSAW, Poland, Oct. 01, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AGNT Hub, the team building a native Web3 execution layer inside X (formerly Twitter), announced the introduction of X Mini Apps – lightweight in-feed applications that turn crypto attention into repeatable onchain engagement and mark the next step for Web3 activity inside X.The Rise of X Mini Apps and Why This MattersMini apps have proven that lightweight, in-feed interfaces can hold attention far better than traditional mobile apps. In 2024 the format reached over 500 million users with more than 75 000 live apps and retention rates about five times higher than classic mobile apps. Telegram alone captured 21.5 % of all crypto users at its peak. Now X is set to take the concept further. The platform hosts the main crypto audience without any "mini-app wave", with 41.7 % of active crypto users in 2024 – almost double Telegram's peak. And about 361 million monthly active crypto users projected for 2025.AGNT Hub now gives teams a direct way to launch those mini apps without hiring a full engineering squad. Through our product, protocols can design and deploy in-feed apps with low-code tools, plug them straight into the existing crypto conversation, and start running campaigns the moment attention appears. For builders it means something even bigger: retention by default. Every mini app lives where the market's attention already moves. Every tap, reward or onchain step happens inside the same feed, so campaigns don't leak and user habits compound naturally. With the largest crypto audience already on ...Full story available on Benzinga.com
