'I was not paid': MAGA host derailed by former 'antifa activist' who turned conservative
Conservative activist Gabriel Nadales, a former antifa associate, admitted that he was not paid while working with the anti-fascist movement despite President Donald Trump's suggestion that a network of left-leaning groups provided funding.During a Thursday interview on Real America's Voice, Nadales threw cold water on the president's claim that antifa was a terrorist "organization.""There is truth to the fact that antifa is an idea, but what makes antifa different is that it's a very consolidated set of ideas that have been adopted by several different groups," he explained. "But the best way to understand antifa is not as an organization, but as a movement. Within this movement, you have several different radical left-wing organizations. Some of them call themselves antifa, but a lot of them don't.""During your time with antifa, being engaged in that activism, as you call it, were you paid?" pro-MAGA host Terrence Bates wondered. "Where did the money come from?""First of all, no, it was not paid," Nadales replied. "Like the antifa activists are not paid. And there's this idea that like a lot of them are paid activists.""They're not doing this for a paycheck," he added.
